The core function of the CFCRA is to facilitate national value chain collaborations for federal research programming. This has led to the CFCRA holding and administering a $5.7 million DIAP Project under Growing Forward 1 (2010-2013); a $10.3 million Canadian Field Crop Genetics Improvement Cluster under Growing Forward 2 (2013-2018); and an $8.3 million Soybean Cluster, $2.9 million Oat Project, and $4.1 million Corn Project under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP) AgriScience Program (2018-2023).
